Ms Kelly was most recently the senior vice president and compliance officer for Acadian Asset Management since 2006. She has also worked for the BISYS Group in the position of broker dealer compliance and AML Officer, and State Street Research & Management Company as a compliance analyst.

In her new position, Ms Kelly will focus on developing a robust compliance and risk program in the US, while actively building out operations and incorporating new products.

Ms Kelly’s appointment follows that of Rob Bernstein in April to head up BennBridge US.

Mr Bernstein said Ms Kelly’s experience in developing compliance programs within complex global financial services organizations will play a pivotal role as BennBridge continues to expand its services to the US market.

“The growth of our US division is a part of our long-term strategic plan and the appointment of a new chief compliance officer will help to continue business development.

“Cynthia's deep knowledge of regulatory compliance processes, risks and controls in the US financial services industry make her a good fit for the business. Her expertise will be crucial in expanding our operations and incorporating new products to meet increased demand.”

Ms Kelly holds a Masters in Ethics & Public Policy from Suffolk University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston.
